Welcome to the website for my tutoring company, True Potential Prep!  My name is Maritess Plewnarz and I would love to help you achieve your academic goals - I provide tutoring in Math through Calculus, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Standardized Test Prep (ISEE, CAHSEE, CST, PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP, GRE, GMAT, CSET, and others), and College Application Consulting.  I have a very strong educational background and extensive teaching and tutoring experience. I don't see myself as just a tutor, but as a true mentor who helps bring out the best in each individual that I work with.

During the last 12 years, I have helped many students sustain top academic grades or raise their grades by 2 or 3 letter grades and I have designed a comprehensive SAT curriculum that enables my students to improve their SAT scores by 100 to 300+ points.  As a Harvard graduate and former Harvard admissions interviewer, I am intimately familiar with the college application process and I enjoy coaching individual students to gain acceptance into competitive 4-year universities including USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Chapman University, Claremont McKenna, UC Irvine, and Pace University.
